CASE STUDY SNAPSHOT: SUCCESS IN PROGRESS

HOW  YOU  CAN EARN
THE THUMBS UP
IN YOUR COMPANY,
AND BECOME A  DRUG-NAMING  ROCK STAR TOO!

Drug, Pharmaceutical and FDA Proprietary Names and Trademarks

Diane, a key member of a biopharma start-up, needed help naming their late-stage compound, or else face costly delays at FDA.

Her problem was that no one at the small company had ever engaged in drug naming before, and she wasn't sure what to budget. When she called us, we offered free advice and outlined several naming options at her disposal.

She opted to bring us on board, and our team went right to work. Using proprietary tools to gather Diane’s team input, we quickly created a large pool of potential drug names. Several of our names proved to resonate with her senior managers, and that helped Diane convince them to stay on course with naming and avoid trouble.

We were delighted... first because Diane was a fantastic partner who turned to us as her advisor. But what really warmed our hearts was that she's now famously known inside her company as the "naming guru."

We are betting that this sobriquet will soon change to “Naming Guru–VP."

(Diane is a fictitious name but her story is real. At this time, there is no public brand name announcement. As is sometimes the case with start-ups, flying underneath the radar is preferred. We respect our client's privacy.)
